SCUBA DIVING / SNORKELING in COSTA RICA

6 days/ 5 nights (or more)

Programme:

Peninsula OSA: Drake Bay & Isla de Caño

• Day 1:
  Arrival at the hotel EL MARAÑON in Ciudad Colón near SAN JOSE, 20 minutes from San José or the airport, situated in a beautiful tropical garden viewing over the Central Valley to the volcano Poás
  
  
• Day 2:
  Tropical breakfast and detailed information about the tour; transfer to the flight to Palmar through the Central Valley to the Pacific coast and down south to the TERRABA-Delta (airport Palmar Sur); continuing by taxi to SIERPE, and by boat through the biggest mangrove delta of Central America (wildlife observation!) on the open sea and to Drake Bay. You stay in the beautiful located MIRADOR DRAKE Lodge with a fantastic view over the bay. Afternoon free to enjoy the beach and/or the tropical rain forest.
  
  
• Day 3 + 4.:
  Breakfast; daytrips by boat to ISLA de CAÑO, one of the most interesting Diving areas of the country: 2 scuba dives or snorkel in one of the 8 diving points around the island. Picnick. Afternoon free for a visit of the National Park or swimming at a sandy beach. Return to Drake Bay (with a bid of luck you will see dolphins or wales on your way).
  
  
• Day 5:
  Morning free for activities; Return flight from Drake to San José (or extention in Drake); transfer to hotel EL MARAÑON.
  
  
• 6. Tag:
  Breakfast (or extention) and Good bye!
