[Back to overview ...] ACTIV & INDIVIDUAL: 2-weeks-individual-tour through 4 selected hotels situated in the most interesting places of Costa Rica Experience Costa Rica in an individual, activ and relaxing way by using our hotel-and transfer-programme, which you can book at every time you like. Without changing your lodge all the time, you stay 3-4 days each in comfortable hotels selected by us. The location of the lodges is chosen in a way that the Costarican nature miracles are close by and can be easily discovered. The staff of the lodges will help you with your individual plans of local excursions. Also we book a transfer service, which connects every single lodge with another. Itinerary: 1st day: Arrival in San José/Costa Rica. Transfer to the hotel El Marañón, situated in mid a wonderful tropical garden about 10 miles outside of the capital with a great view to the Poás volcano. 2nd day: After the tropical breakfast on the sunny terrasse we´ll give you all the information you need for your trip. The rest of the day you can relax or do a trip in the surroundings to one of the National Parks or to the capital to get to know Latin feeling; again overnight stay in the hotel El Marañón. 3rd day: Transfer to La Fortuna/Arenal volcano to the Arenal Oasis Lodge (or equivalent). 3rd – 7th day: Stay at the Arenal volcano with a rich choice of activities. 7th day: Transfer to Pedacito del Cielo Lodge on the San-Carlos-River in the middle of the rainforest and located on the river banks nearby the nicaraguan border – a paradise for bird lovers. 7th – 10th day: Stay in the Pedacito-del-Cielo-Lodge with 2 active tours: giuded hiking tour in the rainforest reserve of the lodge and choose between a boat trip on the Río San Carlos or horseback riding. 10th day: 2 alternatives: - Transfer to the Lodge La Costa de Papito (or equivalent) located in the South Caribbean near Puerto Viejo – 100 m away from the dream beach of the caribbean. - Transfer to the hotel Belvedere located at the marvellous Pacific beaches Sámara and Carillo – 300 m away from the beach. 10th – 14th day: Stay at the ocean 14th day: Transfer to and overnight stay in the hotel El Marañón 15th day: Departure; Transfer to the airport Services included: Transfers listed in the program; 14 x overnight stays incl. breakfast in the named locations and 2 active tours in the Pedacito-del-Cielo-Lodge, detailed advice on the 2nd day and telefonic advice mo-fr 8 a.m.-17 p.m. during the whole trip. Information: 2 participants stay in a doble room, with 3 participants 1 doble room + 1 single room, with 4 participants 2 doble rooms (minimum 2 participants) • Close to the accomodations at the lake Arenal and the beaches you can choose between several restaurants, where a meal costs you about 6 to 16 $. The hotel El Marañón has its own gourmetrestaurant and the Lodge Pedacito del Cielo is cooking by itself. • The whole named active program is only included on the days staying in the Pedacito-del-Cielo-Lodge! In all the other accomodations all activities are offered by the lodge itself or by close agents and can be booked there directly without reservation.
