Our Flexi Programme includes airport pick-up, car rental and a hotel voucher for every night during the period of your car rental. You can use the voucher in more than 80 hotels all over the country.
You travel independently and flexibly, but with the help of a professional local agency.


This is how our programme works:

You will be picked up at the airport of San José and taken to our hotel El Marañón, 20 minutes from the airport. Here you spend the first night in a quiet and pleasant natural, atmosphere, ideally suited to settle down.

The next morning after a tropical breakfast, the details of the programme will be explained to you by a competent English-speaking expert. You will receive a lot of valuable information and tips for your tour on the basis of your interests.

Assisted by us, you will now receive your car and the hotel vouchers which you can use during your stay in 80 carefully selected hotels all over Costa Rica. And if you like, we can already book certain hotels or local activities for you.

You travel independently and without a fixed route. If you like some of the chosen places particularly well, you just add one or several nights. With Flexi Drive this is no problem.

• 7, 14 or more nights in selected hotels (in most cases breakfast incl. - see list of hotels)
• 7, 14 or more days car rental; unlimited mileage
• car insurance is not included and has to be bought for 13 US dollars per day for automobils or 18 US dollars per day for Jeeps 4x4; this insurance includes a deductible of 1000 US dollars in case of damage or accident which you can exclude paying $ 15 per day extra to have full cover.
• intensive consultation and advice at Hotel El Marañón on the first day after breakfast and posible booking of hotels or activities
• Note: Vacancy cannot be guaranteed in all hotelsof your choice at all times. Unused vouchers cannot be refunded.

Tips and suggestions

• during high season we advise you to announce your arrival at least one day before via telephone
• many hotels offer special tours guided by English-speaking experts
• for the last night we recommend to stay at Hotel El Maranon in order to hand back the car on the following morning (with our help)
